Year 6 Community Service at Palms Nursing Home

Yesterday, our wonderful Year 6B students had the privilege of visiting Palms Nursing Home!

It was a heartwarming experience filled with laughter, joy, and meaningful connections. The students engaged with the residents through games and shared stories, that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

This visit was a beautiful reminder of the importance of community and compassion. Our students learned valuable lessons about empathy and the joy of giving back to those in need. Thank you to the staff and residents at Palms for welcoming us with open arms!

Nick Dametto MP Visit

Thank you Nick Dametto MP for visiting our Year 6 classes today and helping deepen their understanding of Local, State and Federal government. They also enjoyed learning about your role as our local MP.

What's Happening in Year 2

2B has been having the best time learning all about mixtures in Science. We have been like chefs mixing ingredients in different ways to make tasty combinations and interesting textures.

The excitement is real! We can’t WAIT for our Science lessons to find out what we will be mixing up next!

What's Happening in Year 4

We've been busy engaging in hands-on collaborative learning in Maths, learning to count and represent fractions on a number line. We have also began our weekly free writing sessions on Tuesday afternoons- our "Tuesday Treasure Texts".

Students are loving being able to take off their shoes, have quiet music playing, and experiment with different writing paper and instruments as they write their own-choice of texts.

We've had a lovely time over the last two weeks, and all the students are working well as we learn new routines.
