?☀️Finally our students got to enjoy a little bit of play in the sunshine while it lasted! There were lots of smiles on these faces ☀️?

? 2B Learning Breakfast ?

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2B Learning Breakfast! It was a joy to share a delicious fruit platter and showcase the amazing ways our students are growing and learning. Keep up the great work!

??3A Learning Breakfast ??

It was wonderful to see so many 3A families join us for our Term 1 Learning Breakfast. The students were very proud to showcase their work. The students books and classroom look amazing and so neat! There has been lots of learning happening in Year 3, despite the interruptions from the weather and busyness of NAPLAN. ?

??What's Happening in Year 6??

In 6B we have been doing lots of learning about lots of things! Recently we have studied the roles and responsibilities of the Local, State and Federal Government and the people within. The photos show our big flowchart which demonstrates our understanding of this. We also created an art piece of the Federal Parliament House in Canberra.
??✨Most importantly, we are really enjoying the wonderful class community which we are building. ??✨

?? A Special Visit for Our P-2 Students??

Hinchinbrook Shire Council paid a special visit to our Year 1 students, bringing them a vital resource to help navigate the challenges of recent flooding. Each P-2 student will receive a copy of Birdie and the Flood written by Andrea Murray, a fantastic book designed to support young children in understanding and coping with natural disasters.
A huge thank you to Cr Donna Marbelli, Craig Hutchings from HSC, and Trudie Hutchings from the Townsville Women's Centre (in partnership with Soroptimist Townsville) for making this possible! This generous donation ensures all Hinchinbrook students from Prep to Year 2 have access to this important resource. ?? #CommunitySupport #BirdieAndTheFlood #hinchinbrookshirecouncil
